In this time during a terrible pandemic, learning how to become a better listener and speaker is crucial! It is important for all of us to develop our social skills and understanding of others so that we can stay united and strong! While I have not utilized my training with CLS or outside of it, I can say that I have a newfound appreciation for social connections that I hold with my friends and family members; that I plan on maintaining and growing throughout the course of my life!

This training course was a great rundown of everything you may experience as a volunteer on the CLS platform. I was able to learn a lot from the different modules and quizzes and am happy to have added this new knowledge to my skillset. With that being said, I think this course could be improved by making it more comprehensive, detailed, and engaging. I would have appreciated more details and background info on certain topics, as well as opportunities to engage with the material and test my application of what I've learned because I feel that this would have helped solidify my knowledge of what I've learned. Additionally, I found the training for the tawk.to platform a bit confusing from the perspective of someone who had little exposure to this platform prior to the training. I feel like a more in-depth explanation of how to navigate it would have been super helpful and made me feel even more confident before going for my practical training appointment. Other than the points already mentioned though, I really enjoyed taking this training and I'm glad I had the opportunity to acquire this knowledge and become part of this community at CLS.

Overall it is great training with many aspects very clearly captured. In my personal opinion, to make new trainee more confident it would be good if some simulations to handle different generic as well as few complicated chat scenarios.
